At the middle of 2024, I found a simple quote:

“RWE11 – Read, Write, Everyday. 1 Hour for 1 Year.”

It really hit me. It was such a simple idea, but I’d never thought about it that way before. This quote gave me the push I needed to start making small daily efforts to improve myself.

For years, I’ve been exercising every day—at least an hour. I’ve had this habit/mindset for a long time: even when I’m tired, I just show up and do something. Over time, working out became my small daily win. It makes me feel proud, boosts my confidence, and keeps me healthy.
However, I never thought about applying this mindset to build other habits.
I decided to take this same approach to learning. I started small—just 30 minutes a day—and focused on learning something new.

I started using in-between times during the day, like:
✨ Reading short articles while waiting for food or friends.
✨ Learning video editing skills during my commute on the metro or in the car.
✨ Using tools like Notion, Structured, and Google Calendar to plan my day and stay organized.
These little bits of time added up and helped me achieve some great results by the end of the year.

By sticking to this “30 minutes a day” idea, I’ve:
💫 Finished 4 Google Courses: I completed courses on Generative AI and Data Analytics, which were super helpful for my career.
💫 Improved My Video Editing Skills: My TikTok videos look so much better now. I even tried doing voiceovers, which helped me improve my speaking and creativity.

Here are 2 tools I’d recommend to anyone trying to build better habits:
🔧 Notion: Notion is more than just a note-taking or to-do list app. It’s a system that helps you manage all your knowledge and information. Explore the available templates, and you’ll find countless ways to use Notion to boost your productivity.
🔧 Structured: This app changed the way I plan my days. It helps me see small gaps between events and plan ahead so I can make the most of those micro times.

If you spend just 30 minutes a day doing something that matters to you, you’ll see results faster than you think. Start with an amount of time that feels right for you—don’t force yourself to do too much at once.

Let’s not waste our time on things that won’t pay off.
Let me know how do you make the most of your time ? I’d love to hear your tips !
